The Pharmaceutical Managed Markets
Association (PMMA) is for internal managed marketing professionals, directors
of managed care, pharmaceutical national and regional account managers,
and other pharmaceutical employees, as well as all stakeholders within
the pharma industry. PMMA is an advocate for pharmaceutical professionals
and the policies that matter most to them, and it provides education and
training to assist its members in their interactions with other industry
stakeholders.
Dear Managed Markets Friends,
The Pharmaceutical Managed Markets Association (PMMA), a new organization
whose objective is to provide education and training for pharmaceutical
managed care professionals in account management, managed care marketing
and other functions, will hold its first educational meeting March 27
through 29 in Stowe, Vermont.
The meeting will begin Friday evening at 5:30 with a welcome event with
speakers. On Saturday there will be plenty of time for sightseeing between
our morning roundtable discussions and evening educational program.
The location and date of this exciting first meeting as well as specific
sessions being offered were all decided by you – the attendees.
Earlier this month, we sent a survey to potential participants, requesting
input on when and where to hold this exciting first meeting. Some 54 percent
of colleagues cast their vote for Stowe, a town with many hotels, restaurants
and shops. Almost 64 percent of colleagues responding requested the March
27 weekend. Many also made suggestions about what they would really like
to learn during the meeting and round table discussions.
